The Acute Care Nursing (ACN) course consists of a series of classes & skills labs focused primarily in the Critical Care or Emergency Department environment.
This two-week intensive lecture and skills lab series provides review and introductory info on the five most common emergencies that happen to our hospitalized patients.
This course is designed for the third or fourth semester nursing student who is seeking clinical internship and subsequent employment in a high-acuity patient environment, but has also been found to be an excellent course for the new graduate nurse.
