We will be maintaining social distancing precautions and doing all we can to educate our clients while simultaneously preventing the spread of this terrible virus. In the mean time, we are sending along some info about our upcoming classes on the calendar. We have received approval from the AHA to hold virtual classroom classes! ( Hooray!!)
This is a temporary measure by the AHA, they will decide how long virtual classes will be available to the public but our assumption is it will be at until the end of the shelter-in-place orders throughout the country have been lifted ( at the very least). We have begun putting virtual classroom classes on the calendar beginning April 11th for ACLS and PALS updates.
We will not be doing ACLS or PALS provider classes in the virtual classroom as there are too many skills and pieces of equipment to be delivered for this to work within the parameters provided to us by the AHA.
You should also know: The AHA has extended the grace period for cards expiring in March, April, May and June to 120 out from the date of expiration.
Please do not panic if your card has recently expired, or will be expiring soon, you won’t be penalized for this. We have your back!
We hope this information is helpful. We want you to know, our top priority is health, safety and the prevention of viral transmission. We know there have been a lot of changes recently, and change can be difficult.
We appreciate your patience, great attitude and willingness to flex with us! All of these qualities are what make you such a valued client. We are so grateful for your support as we navigate this new healthcare, education, business..well, GLOBAL landscape.
